We have been informed by the Attorney for Computer World that they do expect to be able to release your rebate if and when funds become available. At this time we do not have a date of when this will occur.

Rebates were mailed in by certified return receipt. RebateRebateSystems web site said they had received the rebate and it had been approved and were in the process of sending the check. After waiting 10 months (July 2007), I took the advice of Arlington, Va (below) and filed two complaints with the BBB against ECost and X2GEN claiming fraud. Ecost responded immediately and asked me to fax copies of the rebate forms and receipt that I had submitted to them and said they would investigate. BBB complaints were eventually closed as ECost had responded and X2GEN never did.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Two checks showed up together, 14 months after I had sent in the rebate. X2GEN gets an F-, ECost gets a C as they did promptly respond and probably motivated someone to send the check, unfortunately they still sell X2GEN products even after all of the complaints.
BJ's, Costco and Circuit City have the easiest non-mail rebate procedures. I don't know what would have happened if I filed the BBB complaint against X2Gen, but I do know that the vendor (ecost) can without their payments to the manufacturers in a large case of negligence that this board seems to indicate - I would encourage everyone to go back to their vendors, and then to the BBB if they are still denied.
