We called the manager of the store and found out that there was a problem and the rebate forms did not print, and that we would need to go back to the store to pickup a form. We picked up the form (after another trip to the store), filled it out, and mailed it in with the receipt. One month turn around is fast to me, no 6 to 8 weeks. They have a 800 number. No cutting UPS from the items. The only company I do not fear in sending off rebates to. You get money back unless you get their gift card then you get 10% more than the value of your rebate. Very nice if you spend a lot at Walgreens.
Another good company for rebates is Menards but you get a store credit instead of cash. ALso now they want you to buy at least $10 before you can apply for the rebate. That has stopped me from buying their rebate items a lot. The easysaver is only available in the store (next to the flyers at the entrance). It has a bunch of coupons plus a list of items with rebates. The first few items are 'FREE AFTER REBATE'. I have done this every month for a year and have not lost any money. The cheque does take a while; about 2 months. I have gotten shampoo, makeup, hair gel, vitamins, body wash, deodorant, and even candy for free!! The best thing is that you only need to fill out one form to claim rebates for multiple items. |
