 I bought a Toshiba laptop last December with a rebate of $94.97. However, I never got any reply or contact from Toshiba Rebate Center after submitting the rebate application several months ago. They showed my case at a status of "Processing" on line. But I was told that the program had been closed and they could not pay the rebate when I called them last month. It is the worst service, really like a swindle.

 Bought the notebook with a bundle of rebates, (and I know better), Epson sent all of my many rebates in a hurry, but Toshiba did nothing but give me a headache. Dealt with customer service at least 10 times just to find out that my submission was still "not valid" because after I emailed them a photo of the serial number plate, I had a notebook that did not qualify. Of course they had the serial number initially but that was not the reason my submission was 'invalid' to beging with. Hmmmm. Anyhow, I bought the computer from American TV and made them aware of this situation, they sent me a $50 gift card in less than a week. AMERICAN TV ROCKS. My Toshiba is awesome, too bad the company is made up of criminals who seem to ENJOY stealing from it's customers.

 I purchased a Toshiba notebook on 7/14/06 and mailed the $50 rebate form and other info on 7/21/06. I still had not receive my rebate check yet. They kept telling me that it is in process. Customer service is very bad. As of today 9/20/06, I did not receive my rebate check yet. Toshiba had the worse rebate program!!! Next time, I will not buy a Toshiba product if I have to submit rebate for discount.

 When I applied for my refund in February 2006. I contacted the rebate center their response was 1. March 2006 It went to the wrong address, it will be reissued in 3-6 weeks. 2. June- It was returned to us for some unknown reason, it will take 3-6 weeks to reissue the check. 3. August -Check will be sent in 3-6 weeks 4. September 14 "The refund offer has expired and we can no longer issue you a check".

 I purchased a Toshiba notebook and tried to get my rebate in 06/2/2006. I submitted it online and via the US mail with original serial number and original UPC from the box. In 07/02/2006 received a declined letter because original serial number and original UPC are missing. I called Customer service tell them I ready sent out the originals. I was told photocopy back of my laptop and send back to them,which I did on 07/12/2006. In 9/2006 I called Customer service, again they claim they did not receive the paper work. But when I check online claim statues Last Postmark: 07/17/2006. I still don't have my rebate. I have photocopy the back of my computer again and send.

 I purchased a Toshiba notebook and tried to get my rebate and they kept telling me they did not receive the paper work. I submit it online and via the US mail. Customer service sucked so bad and the supervisors were even worse. I finally had to call a VIP number which may have helped. I'm not sure yet. I know I still don't have my rebate. If I didn't like my computer so much.

 THIS IS THEFT. My rebate claim was rejected after 3 months because I supposedly returned the computer (I did not). Following approval, the check mysteriously never arrived. Perhaps my address was incorrectly entered (it was not). 8 months after purchase I still don't have my approved rebate.
