I submitted all legal documents for rebate. They did not send rebate - I called - held the phone for 25 minutes before someone came on the phone. The guy who attended the phone was very rude. Hope some one takes legal action on this guys. DO NOT BUY ANY STOMPSOFT products! AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I purchased File Shredder Pro back in November 2006 because they had $20 rebate. As of today (April 7, 2007), I have not received the rebate. I tried contact them by phone. It was almost impossible. They had me wait for more than 20 minutes and I gave up because I was busy. I don't know how they can scam people like this. Someone should take a legal action to teach this scammer a lesson. I will keep trying to contact them until I get my rebate. Please avoid buying their product.

After jumping through all of their hoops, they say I did none of the required actions, like how would they know my name if I didn't send in the form...Followed previous advice and sent a fax today, with all of my hoop jumping copies.

My rebate was only paid after I faxed and called Stompsoft president Michael Hummell. You can fax him at 949-263-8540. You can call him at 949-263-8550 and then enter his last name to get his extension. Leave a message on his personal voicemail. He called me back. I had to call him several times to get both $15 rebates (standard and competitive/upgrade)offered on one software product. He tried to get away with paying only one of the rebates and after some badgering, finally paid the second rebate SEVEN months after I originally submitted them. Another irony of the experience was that at one point I actually got through to the 1-800-835-2111 Stompsoft support and rebate information combination number. Usually when you call this number you are on hold so long you give up, as I did several times. But I did get to talk to a Stompsoft support person at the 800 number once. The person who answered admitted that they get a lot of calls regarding overdue rebates. What a surprise.

The company is STOMPSOFT, the product Easy PC Transfer was purchased from Fry's Electronics in May 2006 and submitted with all required documentation (I have copies) After 4 months (9/06) they posted the information on the their rebate webpage, stating my rebate is invalid. They made it difficult to contact them, and harder still to get any resolution. STOMPSOFT is a company the does not deal honestly with their customer. Their DECEPTIVE business practice is the quickest way to lose customer goodwill. I would not purchase any products them again. Their rebate is a scam.

I purchased a product through CompUSA and mailed everything to StompSoft but my submission didn't show up until after CompUSA contacted them on my behalf on more than one occasion. It's still pending over 10 weeks after when it was supposed to be paid. Avoid StompSoft!
