Received 2 prepaid Visa Debit/Credit cards as a rebate for purchasing a Symantec product. Rebate cards arrived as expected and were for the correct $ amount. I signed no agreement at the time nor did I indicate that I accept their terms of the card. Apparently they impose a $3 "account maintenace fee" per month for every month there is an open balance on thier card starting 6 months after issuance of the original rebate. In addition to being a significant % of the o/s balance if they are going to issue rebates their should write a check that can be cashed, deposited or used for their products. Most rebate cards will end up with a small balance that really can't be used by the consumer so the company recovers these rebates when they charge the fees. When I tried contacting the number on the card 1-866-496-6189 I was not able to speak with a human. It was a voice response system and there was not "access" to an operator.
