 Samsung handled this as badly as possible. If you can get through to the mobile department, they don't do anything. When contacting the rebate company that they go through, they are just as bad, if not WORSE. It's darn near impossible to speak with a person, but when you do, they say that they are going to submit a complaint and resolve it, while what they are really doing is ignoring everything that you say, and doing nothing. I will NEVER purchase anything from Samsung again, this has been an absolutely EMBARRASSING customer service experience for them.

 My Fiancee's parents are haveing the same issue with getting their renate. It was submitted in october of 08. Several calls and attempts have been made to get the rebabt, but noting yet and it's february of 2010. the customer service center will not give out any information on the company and will not let them talk to a supervisor.. We've all had enough so i did some researching and found out that the company is Tristar Fufillment Services. The address is 520 Pedricktown rd. Swedesboro, NJ 08085-1729. The CEO is Susan Harker and the Vice president is Chuck Ramsey. The phone number is 1800-633-9177. Susan harkers extension: 205 and Chuck ramseys extension:207.. we have not contacted anyone yet since I have just found the information. Goodluck and I hope all the info i have found can help someone else.

 I submitted the following to the New Jersey Attorney General's office regarding Tristar Fulfillment. I suggest you do the same if you have not received your $200 NFL shop rebate: I purchased a Samsung television in January 2009. A $200 NFLshop.ocm rebate was an incentive to buy the television. I filled out the rebate form and submitted the paperwork on January 31, 2009. I have copies of all paperwork submitted. I logged on to checkmyrebate.com several times a week to check the status and finally in April it showed that it had been mailed. In May it showed that the rebate was returned to them due to undeliverable address. I emailed them in June and they said it was being processed. In July they said it was being reissued. I never received it. In November I found their phone number online and called to get the status. The customer service rep said that she could not help me until after December 1. I called on December 2, 2009 and a customer service rep said that they would reissue the rebate and mail it using a traceable method. I have not received it and they no longer answer the phone. Their address is not listed on their website, but my paperwork was mailed to a New Jersey post office box. Please help me.

 The rebate was overdue by 4 months when I called their support number. I was told that the check would be mailed within 3 to 4 weeks 0 it was not. I sent them an email letting them know that I intend to file a complaint with the ny and ni attorneys general. Two days later they sent me email saying that my 'request' was mailed 11/4/2009 and that I should allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Just another greedy corporate madoff.

 This rebate is a complete scam. I have been contacting them for close to a year now. First they started this BS story about how they had shipped it but it could not be delivered to my address. Right. Been in the same house for 14 years. Then the real BS started. They have been telling me for months that they are waiting on more certificates or it is getting ready to ship. I could have walked back and forth to NJ 15 times in the amount of time they have had. They are very rude, they will NEVER let you talk to anyone in a supervisor role. The supervisor is ALWAYS too busy to talk. I have complained to Samsung still no resolution. I will NEVER buy another samsung product again nor buy from a vendor who uses tristar for rebate processing. They both SUCK!!!!!!!

 Well, I am still waiting. Finally called the 800 number and sent an email. The lady on the phone said 'unfortunately we have had problem getting more certificates, but they have all just been released so you should be getting it anytime now'. Weeks later, no rebate, and the status on checkmyrebate.com hasnt changed to shipped. Pretty crazy, samsung really should have anticipated people would actually use a 200.00 rebate. They were obviously hoping we wouldnt. If I dont get it within the next 2 weeks I will be joining everyone in taking further action. I know these companies would not simply write off 200.00 if we owed it to them.

 The site checkmyrebate.com listed the date of process of my rebate as 4/28/2009 (it was received weeks earlier). It also says that it is preparing for shipping. The rebates terms state that the you will receive your rebate within 10 weeks. As of today it has been 20 weeks. I was told that they are waiting for more codes from NFL.com to process more rebates. How long should that take and how is that my problem. This sounds like fraud to me and I think a class action is in order. If anyone agrees, email me @ newlaw48@hotmail.com

 I filled out the rebate form and sent in the rebate receipt Fry's told me to use, which apparently was not the correct receipt. I got a postcard saying my rebate was incomplete. I resubmitted the other receipt immediately, and although it was processed on April 29th (long after I sent it), I still have not received my rebate. I emailed checkmyrebate.com, and received a short, clipped, and badly written statement saying that it hadn't shipped yet. Football season starts in 2 weeks and I still don't have my jersey. Bottom line, the rebate processing is abysmal, customer service is poor, and the 8-10 week guide is an outright lie. Although this may not be Samsung's problem, it reflects poorly on the company and I am very disappointed. I may still receive my rebate, but the amount of time I have been waiting is unacceptable.

 Part of my decision to purchase the TV was because there was a $200 "rebate." Imagine my surprise when, after 2 calls to TriStar (3rd party rebate service) and 8 months later, I got a "reward certificate" for $200; good towards the purchase of of a qualifying new Samsung product. TriStar said my "rebate" was sent in December, but I never received it. I had them reissue "the check" in March. After finally receiving the reward certificate, the TriStar website (checkmyrebate.com) still showed that it had not been sent. I will post this nonsense on my blog (penkapp.com), call Samsung, call TriStar, and suggest to others that they never purchase another Samsung product. Unacceptable.

 Well, my certificate arrived today. That is... after contacting the rebate company via their email form eight times, registering a complaint with the BBB, contacting Samsung investor relations (regular custoer serveice people were worthless). Of course, the checkmyrebate website does not show it as shipped still, what a bunch of loosers. BTW, I refered Samsung corporate to this web site to enable them to see the level of discontent. Now all I have to do is hope the certificate actually works. You can only use it online.

So I sent it in to the company the were going threw Tristar Fulfillment Services. They received it on 2,11,09 processed it on 2.16.09 and thats it haven't received it yet, contacted them last month and did not get a replay from them. Just sent them another email today but don't expect to here back from them. I love my Samsung tv but after having this problem with a company they have doing their rebates I will probably not buy another Samsung problem. If your gonna offer a rebate/GC great but if your gonna offer it and not follow threw on it then don't offer it thats just bad for business.

They need to do their math and before they waste their time writing me with such a lame excuse, they need to see that it's been over 8-10 weeks.  Submitted NFL / Samsung rebate in Jan. At the end of Feb, tried to check status. My address shows no information - so I emailed.. waited a week.. emailed again. They never got back to me. Checked status and they were not posting any record of my rebate. I submitted the rebate again (samsung TVs have 2 UPCs on the box) - this time with USPS tracking. I can tell that it was delivered, but again - it doesn't show up in their system. This may just be a time delay, but the fact that they do not respond (AT ALL) to inquiries is disturbing. They're owned by: tristar fulfillment services. I think for rebates this big - keep a copy of everything and be able to prove delivery.

Well it is 10/21/08 and I still don't have the rebate. I bought my Samsung TV on 9/9/07! I have contacted the Samsung rebate center and they are IDIOTS!! I must have talked to them 20 times or more. I never had such bad customer service!!! I have been given the run around for 13 months to be told that sorry we aren't printing the rebates any more, you are out of luck. People at that Samsung office have given me wrong names, it is so ridiculous! If anyone finally gets this rebate it will be a miracle. I am not giving up, it is now the point I will not stand for this kind of abuse. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!

We had to mail the certificate back and they are suppose to send us a new one. Still waiting. The first certificate was not "activated" - whatever that means. We were also told the PIN number was one digit too long. Someone else said it was one digit too short. So who knows

 After purchasing the printer in January 2008 and immediately submitting our rebate information, we waited several months for the $50 rebate that never arrived. We used their web site to communicate with them and received a response that indicated we had to resubmit everything that they did not get it. However in the reply email, all of our information was there. Hmmmm, I thought. So we replied indicating same, and several days later (today) we get another strange email saying the check was mailed on March 24 and cleared the bank March 31. No bank name was mentioned. Cross-referenced the Check # with the our bank (and our records), as well as all transactions during that time and there was nothing. Again, Hmmmm...I smell a scam here. I do not expect this to get resolved but I will file this with the US Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency in hopes of anything. What a shame.

 I had the exact same experience as Allen, TX complaint. i also purchased my monitor at Fry's on November 19, 2007 and wassent the same postcard. I feel that Samsung has failed miserably to provide customer service and honor their obligation. Fry's could care less and will not comment, confirm that they had the rebate posted and says "they don't want to get involved"! They are certainly involved as the third party and may have misrepresented their vendor! What about a class action suit if more of these cases are reported?

 I purchased a Samsung monitor from Fry's Electronics in November 2007. I submitted Fry's "Rebate Receipt", the rebate form and the UPC/Serial Number Bar Code from the product box. I mailed the application around Nov. 18, 2007. I received a postcard from Samsung stating that my purchase was made outside the qualifying period. The date on my receipt is the same as the starting date of the qualifying period of the rebate. I contacted Samsung's customer service. The first person I talked to said that he could not find my receipt and that I needed to send a copy of it to their "Resubmit Department/Special Handling". After getting off the phone, I could see that the receipt was clearly stapled to the application when I photocopied it prior to mailing it. I called Samsung's Customer Service Department and asked for a supervisor. During this phone call my receipt was "miraculously" found. I was told that they would be processing my rebate and that I should be getting a check. About a week after I talked to their customer service department, I received another post card giving the same reason for denial -- out of qualifying period. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was automatically sent because of my first phone call. As of March 19, 2008, a full 4 months after my purchase, I still have not received a check. I contacted Samsung Customer Service again and requested to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold and their system disconnected my call. I called again and finally got to speak to a supervisor. I was told the "check is in the mail" and I should see it in 10 business days. I really don't believe it, but I will give them 10 business days before I start sending out formal complaints.

 I have sent in several Samsung rebates with no problems but now that I have a problem they are no help. I have sent in this rebate a total of five times over the last eight months and called four times today alone. I was cut of three times today after holding for 15-30 minutes and hung up the last time after being on hold for 32 minutes. I've even had people on the phone tell me they will personally make sure I get my rebate if I just submit it one more time. Still nothing.

Log is as follows: 12/27/07 - Bought TV 12/28/07 - Mailed rebate information 01/25/08 - Website shows "Non-compliant" 01/25/08 - Called and instructed to FAX 5 pages of data (same as was submitted) 01/28/08 - Was told the rebate was being "put through" 01/31/08 - Website shows "pending final audit" 02/07/08 - Received post card "Invalid Model" 02/08/08 - Called, was assured all is well 03/04/08 - Processed again with different tracking number. Now shows "Pending final audit" again. 03/08/08 - Will wait for another 6-8 weeks just to see if they mail it. (What a joke!)

 I bought this tv for the great rebates, and for superbowl. Still waiting for the damn rebate, after numerous calls and emails, no responses on emails and RUDE WOMEN on the other end of the phone calls to check my rebate.com. They say the rebate is on back order. BULLSHIT! They say 4 to 6 weeks to receive the rebate, maybe it should read 4 to 6 years!!!! I had an issue with the orginal upc code, re-sent a different upc code off the box the tv was in and still haven't heard anything since. Like the plasma, "F" the customer service at check my rebate.com!

 Total Scam. Customer service is rediculous and absolutely no help. Still waiting on my rebates 6 months later, after 4 times contacting customer service and a resubmission through no fault of my own. This company asks for 2 separate rebates, both to include the originial upc code, which is obviously not possible if you follow the instructions of sending the two rebates separately. FRAUD!! SCAM!! And Samsung claims they never recieved either rebate I submitted, nor the resubmission materials. I will NEVER buy from Samsung again, and I advise anyone against it as well. I can understand making people jump through hoops to obtain a rebate, but Samsung makes it impossible, which is illegal and disgusting.

 I would like to bring to your attention what is in my opinion a combination of false advertising and rebate- fraud! Like myself many consumers have not been able to get the rebates for their Samsung-products that were advertised by electronics stores like Circuit City, Best Buy and others, even though they have meticulously met all of the required items in their forms on time! (I am enclosing a short sample of Samsung customers who had rebate-problems for the same item that I bought). From my research it seems to me that their Rebate Center automatically sends out denials to everyone that requests a refund “for missing items” or any other reasons to stall the procedure and to have legitimate customers give up, having to do unnecessary repeat-mailings and or countless phone-calls. I have enclosed a short sample of ‘horror-stories’ that people had to endure. From my own personal case (keeping accurate records of all items and I am able to prove it) I can tell you that after getting a ‘denial’ because of a missing or ineligible purchase, I was told that getting the denial was a mistake and I would get the refund within 4 weeks. I am now sure that this company is out to cheat customers out of the refunds they are entitled to! A complaint letter to Circuit City customer service is unanswered till today. If you require my records that will prove without a doubt that I am entitled to my refund I will send copies to you right away. I am also enclosing a copy of Samsung’s NJ BBB unsatisfactory record of over 500 cases where I also filed a complaint. I also filed a complaint with the FTC.

 I just received a card from Samsung saying that they have denied my rebate because the “submission did not include the original UPC, submission did not include an original serial number barcode.” This is simply not true. I followed the example on the rebate form of the UPS / Serial Number bar code panel, cut it out, and stapled it to the rebate form. All of this was mailed to the rebate center. It’s unbelievable that they are not honoring this rebate and are willing to lose a customer over a $20.00 rebate. I will try to remember this experience and not purchase another Samsung product in the future.

 Purchased a 50" plasma on february 2nd with a $100 NFL.com rebate. Have yet to receive it even though it shows being received March 7th (I sent certified, received 2-16) (liars!). I have contacted both rebate and Samsung cmpanies and received rude repsonses. as a result of this experience, I will NEVER purchase another Samsung product again. Do not do it, you will regret it! I am telling everytone I know!

 Purchased product in Dec06. Rebate extended into Jan07 but Dec06 rebate form missing on vendor's and Samsung's website. Sent paperwork with Jan07 form and note that rebate was same in both Dec06 and Jan07. Rejected for being outside qualifying period. Email and phone calls - they still refuse to process it if the form and dates don't match, even if there was a rebate in effect for Dec. After much research, finally found Dec06 form somewhere. Sent everything in as a re-submittal. Now waiting. Will never buy a Samsung product again.

 Second chance for Samsung to keep my money. Denied because the receipt from a valid retailer was missing. When I called she then said that the receipt must have been damaged, but miraculously, the UPC and the rebate form were just fine. I'm betting that every 10th or so rebate submission is rejected without review for this or another reason. Then they get a second chance to see if the submitter was smart enough to keep copies of everything. Or maybe the notice will get thrown out as junk, etc. They can only benefit, if for no other reason they keep the money longer. Time value (interest) of several million dollars for 1 month is significant. They answer to no one for this. Even if I do get my rebate at this point, a lot of others will not get theirs as victims of this tactic.

 The company sent me a postcard saying that my rebate submission was faulty because I sent photocopies of the original. That is a complete lie. I sent the cardboard cutout pieces off the box which was the original. I called them and they won't listen to me at all. Since they have my original, I have no way to prove that I sent the original. Cheating #@###!@!

 I purchased a Samsung digital camera in June that had a $60.00 rebate. I mailed in all the forms and waited and waited. Two months later I checked the website www.checkmyrebate.com. It shows that they received the rebate at the end of June and that is was processed the first week of July. The site says that my rebate is awaiting final audit to be processed. I contacted www.checkmyrebate.com and they told me that they are waiting for Samsung to release the money. I then contacted Samsung and aftet talking to one incompetent customer service person, I asked to speak to a senior person in customer service. She took my information, phone number and email address and said she would contact me the next day or so with an update. That was a week ago. I will never buy another Samsung product that has a rebate. If I don't get the discount up from them, forget it.

I got the smallest one, and the larger one they claim info was missing and would not send me the rebate. What a rip off!  I bought a LCD-Monitor 19" on December 2005. I sent the rebate form and it was processed and accepted. I verified on its website and it showed that the check was mailed on March 30, 06 but I never received it. I contacted them and they said "...Unfortunately the offer has ended and we are unable to replace this check for you." It is not fair because the check was not cleared so they should be able to replace it.

 I purchased a Samsung monitor "on sale" at Micro Center in January. The "on sale" part turns out to be rebates. Plural. Ok, sez I, I will jump through these hoops to retrieve my rebates, for which Micro Center provided three "original" receipts and detailed instructions for how to apply for each of *THREE SEPARATE REBATES*. One requires the original UPC (which includes the serial number) and the other two require a copy of it. Then I wait six to twelve weeks. Gee, that might exceed the warranty on the monitor...need to check. Anyway, eventually, a couple of the rebates trickle in. Then a post card that states that a photocopy of the UPC is not acceptable. :seethe: So here's how I figure it *Samsung banks (literally) on X% of Joe Lazy Consumers to blow off applying for three separate rebates (all to Samsung, by the way) because it's just too much trouble. *Samsung further ensures that they don't have to pay off on at least one by requiring the original UPC on two of the three rebates. They bank (literally) on Y% of Joe Lazy Consumers to blow off fighting about whether they submitted an original UPC to this one or that one. Who documents the $#@( out of such things, and how do you prove to which you sent the original anyway?! The original is gone!

Yeah, I bought a bunch of monitors in 2005. (One 20.1-inch was defective; they replaced it immediately and paid shipping both ways.)

 Their staff at rebatestatus.com promised their paperwork error would be fixed, but that the check would take another 8 weeks! Can you believe it? After 10 weeks of waiting, 8 weeks to mail a single check. Then, one day later I got an email from them that my rebate was denied. I have the full paper trail showing it to be sent on-time, with a perfectly qualifying receipt etc, but they're playing the wack-a-mole dance of blaming & delaying the check.

 I am writing to express my displeasure with Samsung product rebates. I have been recently denied a rebate because I was told that they did not receive the original UPC from the box. I cannot do that because I have already sent the original in. When eight weeks passed after sending in my rebates I started to check the website for information on the rebates. I submitted two rebates that were running concurrent, with one needing a copy of the UPC, and the other the original. The website only showed receiving one rebate so I called. I was originally told that there was only one rebate for the product, a 193Pplus monitor bought at CompUSA. I told them that there were in fact two rebates but was told the one was all they could find. I gave up, hoping that the other would show up and I would not have to send a letter like this. I continued to check and after about ten weeks the second rebate did show up on the website. Problem was it said it did not have the UPC submitted. I called again and was told the rebate that was good was the one for the copy of the UPC and they never received the original for the other rebate. Now they are asking me to send the original in and it will be honored, but since it has been submitted I obviously cannot resubmit it. I did a web search and I am not the only person that has been denied rebates due to the original UPC not being submitted. It is funny that it is never for the copy that is missing; since I keep copies of my rebates I could easily resubmit a copy. This has not been my only problem with Samsung rebates. I purchased a printer that had a rebate and I believe I never would have received it had I not called repeatedly about it. Also the rebates have never been received in the allotted time frame.

 After buying a Samsung LCD computer monitor, which I mainly chose for the $70 rebate, I have been very frustrated by the difficulty in getting the rebate. They never sent it. Eventually, I got some mail from them claiming my monitor does not qualify for the rebate. I called Samsung and found out they had the wrong UPC code in their file, not the one I sent them. They are giving me time to re-submit the UPC code, but I should not have to do this. They should have entered the number correctly the first time I sent it to them. I am not very confident they'll get it right the second time.
