The rep was very rude, and all he had to tell me was there's nothing he can do since the Rebate has expired (?). I have a feeling this OnRebate.com company is cheating the customers. I'm complaining with Fry's as well as Inland company at the moment. I purchased this power supply because of the rebate. I mailed everything in and waited...and waited. I never received any indication it wasn't approved. Finally in Feburary I called onrebate myself to find out where my rebate was. I was told it was denied because I didn't include the packing slip (LIE) and because it has been over 30 days since the denial I was out of luck. It was my word against theirs that I did send the receipt, and never received notice of a problem.
I've learned my lesson about this RIPOFF Company. I won't ever buy a product that has a rebate being handled by onrebate. And I'll stop shopping at Fry's too.

Onrebate.com; I got the deal from radioShack for the Ultra V-Series 400-Watt ATX 20/24-Pin SATA Ready Power Supply. I submitted the rebate with the Order confirmation email which was accepted by RadioShack; However Onrebate
made me send in the packing slip. I did that and
waited for 2 weeks to call in. The operator said wait
1 more week and called back. I waited 2 weeks and
called back. Another operator told me to call back in
1 weeks to see the web site updated because the
documnet has been received but the company is so busy
to update the web. I gave them 1 whole month and called back. I was told that Onrebate never received the
packing slip from me so my rebate was denied. And I was too late to resubmit!!!!!! What the H....., F...., ...SH,.... I knew they would pull this scam, I asked for a fax number to fax it over, but they said no.
If there were a fax number I can fax the page over,
that would have sold all the problems.
I was so mad because the lady (not sure about that). She was so obnoxious. She was talking to me with the attitude like there is nothing I can do about that.
I emailed Ultra, and as expected, there was no response. What a jerk!
I will never buy products with rebate from onRebate.com Neither should you!!!

The next thing I know, in the email they write the rebate was for $49.50, and I would be receiving a check for $44.00. Now, I tip my valet guys $5.00 to bring my car around and $0.50 is no big deal, but these guys can short a million people for $0.50 and make half a million bucks cheating on consumers!!! It is a despicable, dirty, ENRON-DESERVING practice that should go punished, or looked down upon. Don't use the service, these guys are full of it, are dishonest, and they want to steal the last $0.50 of your money, or the money of your poor, old grandmother... they wouldn't give a crap whose hard-earned money they're stealing. I had problem with multiple rebate submissions to this company.
Still waiting for rebate checks, after resubmitting as a result
of mistakes by OnRebate.com.
OnRebate.com has this mandatory online
registration for mail-in rebates, which they
claim improves accuracy and speed of rebate
submissions. This additional process is useless at best.
1. Mandatory online registration process
does not reduce any work for the customer,
in fact it increases work. It does not
improve accuracy or response by the rebate
processing company. Some instructions
on the printed form after registrations, treat
customers like idiots (paste here; must cut and
paste address to envelope, otherwise wont get rebate)
2. OnRebate.com's ability to process rebate
paperwork accurately is not consistent and the worst.
3. OnRebate.com does not know industry
standard practice of receipts printed by
retailers for rebate submission (to OnRebate.com's
advantage).
4. OnRebate.com finds invalid reasons to reject your
rebate, even if they have all the material and
information to successfully verify the purchase and eligibility.
5. OnRebate.com sends email with right information if rebate is approved, but will
not similar status email if rejected (deceptive).
6. OnRebate.com behaves as if they are paying
the rebate - not the manufacturer.
7. OnRebate.com service and attitude towards customer is rude.
8. Ultra Products and other companies doing mail-in rebate
processing by OnRebate.com, will likely lose customers if they
do not change to another rebate processor.

This company, I am sure supported by PNY, gains cudos from their clients like PNY for dening legitimate claims.
