By the way, the form indicated nothing about which proof of purchase to send. They might be sending me the rebate after 3 hours on the phone. I reported them to the better business bureau and I recommend others do the same. It is the only way things will change.

Lousy customer service and CSRs I've talked with speak marginally understandable English. They really don't care at all about the customer in spite of well documented advertisement promising $50 rebate and the rebate forms listing the rebate as $50.
I will send the information and paperwork to the Attorney General's Office with a CC to the company CEO. Maybe that will shake the tree a bit and "adjust" their attitude.

I have all my original printed receipts and now Circuit City will not acknowledge me. It seem as thought fraud is all a part of there companies structure and employee training. I guess my next step is the BBB but why would a company treat their customers like this and expect them to return again or not to tell anyone of their horrible experiences.
