 I had eye exam on 8/25 and I bought the contacts on 8/26. Sent in the rebate form, 4 upc codes, receipt from "replacemycontacts.com", receipt from eye doctor and the actual prescription. I was denied because they say I didn't buy the correct amount of (4) boxes, I didn't buy contacts within 90 days of exam and I didn't include eye exam receipt. I told them that it was impossible that they received the upc codes and the rebate form but not the other things as all items were glued to one sheet of paper. I was told to resubmit. What a total joke!!!!

 Ciba rebates are a joke. Two years in a row, I had to call the doctor's office to request they call Ciba so I could get my rebate. Luckily, they were great about it. I told the Ciba rep. on the phone that they are running a bait and switch. They entice you with the rebate to purchase a years worth of contacts and then they find a lame reason not to give it to you. What a shame that a company would be so dishonest.They should be ashamed.

 I submitted ALL the proper paperwork within the proper time and waited over two months for rebate. Because I've been rebate scammed before, I made copies of everything, including the upc codes. Ciba now tells me they have no record of it, or maybe it's "lost in the mail" crap. I'm resubmitting only because there is time left on the rebate and I make notes on my daytimer to re-check these things. I will tell my eye doctor of my experience and recommend they sell another brand and show them all the complaints other consumers have with their rebate from Ciba. What a scam...and such terrible business practices!

 Ciba refuses to pay all rebates!! I sent my rebate with the UPS. They denied it saying no UPS included (which they were). When I called, they said it was after the resubmission time. I asked if they scanned their submissions in and she said yes but couldn't help because it was after resubmission date. I'm filing with the Better Business Bureau.

 ATTENTION: From reading the experience that others have had with attempting to obtain their CIBA rebate, I can't add anything further. I can only say that I am shocked to see so many other people that have experienced the exact same BS that I experienced. Just to let everyone know: I'm making a complaint to the CEOs of CIBA vision today and I am submitting a complaint to Attorney General's office as well. We, as customers, have rights also. I think people need to start taking action and stop allowing CIBA to continue with fradulent practices.

 Impossible to get a rebate out of CIBA. I have tried for 5 years in a row each time I reorder contacts. This is a complete scam / rip-off. I have done everything correctly and it is still received as invalid.

 The Ciba rebate is a fraud. Ciba is offering two rebates on Night&Day Contacts, one for $30 off your eye exam and one for $70 off 4 boxes of contacts. They state both rebates can be combined for $100 back. Here is the form: http://i.walmart.com/i/rb/4080.pdf I followed the instructions EXACTLY and only received $30 instead of the $100 promised. I plan to contact the company, but realize its probably futile.

 I don't recall the rebate amount, no matter what company I order the contact lenses from, I NEVER get the rebate slip! I've been searching the web for about 30 minutes, and this site is what I found! (and a rebate form that expired in 2007!) wow!

 I did not give up and called CIBA Customer Relations at 1-800-875-3001 and the representative listened and did a conference call with the rebate center. I faxed my papers and.....keep fingers crossed.......should receive my rebate soon.

 I sent for the $20 Rebate and folled the requirements printed on the form to the t....that was October 27, 08. Called today 12/16/08 and was told that there was no record of them receiving it and no, it was not their fault.....Same thing happened in October 2006....I now have to resubmit my copies and hope they pay. Oh, I contacted CIBA Vision direct and they did not contact me at all

 Last year I bought the needed 4 boxes of contact lenses for the rebate. Received it fine. This year, was told no UPC codes had been sent, which is untrue--they were attached to the form. My eye doctor called on my behalf and now they are "reprocessing" my form. I think this is a scam, as the first question I was asked was "did you make a copy of your UPC codes?" I did not and I don't think many people do. By automatically telling people that their UPC codes are missing, the company will not have to pay any rebate if someone doesn't argue. This is fraud. I think my eye doctor is aware of the problems, as they seemed to know exactly what to do to help me. The receptionist there even said she'd talk to the Ciba rep and get me some lenses for free if we couldn't work it out. Be sure you copy everything. Next time I am sending a note along that says that I have made copies due to problems in the past and reports of fraud on various websites.

 Denied rebate, same as last time. Customer Service said the rebate was denied because no UPC's were enclosed, which I said was not true. C.S. said the envelope was received opened, so they probably fell out. I said they were attached to the rebate form which they did receive because they had my rebate information on record. I had copies of everything, so C.S. gave me a case# and asked me to resubmit copies to them at a different address to the original. Then I discovered the zip code she gave me was wrong. What a bunch of scammers... CIBA and their rebate processors should be charged with U.S. Mail Fraud. Let's see if this re-submission thing works....

 This rebate is a total scam, and I'm also annoyed at my eye doctor's office (Bennett Optometry) for convincing me it would be such a great deal with this rebate. I wouldn't not have ordered this amount (24 pairs) otherwise. I followed the instructions to the T, but only got $30 back instead of the $60 I was supposed to get back. I checked on my rebate status online and saw that I was denied the other $30 rebate because "Insufficient amount of product purchased." I sent back the exact number of UPCs requested, so I don't know why I was denied. I noticed on the receipt I got from the eye doctor that the exact number of boxes ordered wasn't on there, so I went back and asked for a reprint of the receipt with the number of boxes I ordered, and they said what I had should be fine. I've never had problems with other rebates (Apple, Canon, etc.) but I guess like others, this one is a total scam. I will NEVER order contacts through my eye doctor and from Ciba vision EVER AGAIN.

 Submitted all documents Feb 08, suppose to be 6 weeks. Called 5/28 and was told to re fax everything as it all seemed in order but hadn't been processed. Called 5 more times,spoke with supervisor, more promisis, promised to call me back and didn't, reentered info as they had "entered it incorrectly", 09/02 supervisor said 2 weeks, it has been over 7 months and they tell me it was mailed 10 days ago from Mo. Still no rebate after 9 calls and all sorts of promises. Now I suppose it is lost in the mail.

 I sent in all appropriate documentation and even made copies to prove that I sent in the required items and they denied my rebate claiming that I did not send in any UPC codes. After stating that I had proof they changed their mind and told me to call the eye Dr's office, the office would have to call them and the rebate would be resubmitted. I am supposed to have something in around three weeks but I am not holding my breath.

 This is what I sent to Consumer Protection on 5/25/08 I purchased contact lenses from Lenscrafters, 1505 Annapolis Mall, Annapolis, MD 21401 (telephone 410-573-2095), and was suppose to receive a $100 rebate total--one for $30 and one for $70 from Ciba Vision Rebates. I received the $30 rebate but not the $70. Both rebates were sent the same day (August 11, 2007). I had to call CIBA REBATES only to be told that i did not qualify because the rebate was for the wrong lenses--which it was not. They received the UPC code from the product boxes so they had exactly the lenses that were purchased. Then they told me I had to prove I purchased them again and they would try to resubmit it. Then I went on the internet and searched for Ciba Vision Rebates Fraud and found this site: http://www.rebatereportcard.com/rebateratings/reportsearch.php?companyname=Ciba. There you will find many peoples' complaints who have had the exact same experience I am having now. I contacted Lenscrafters (the seller) and told them about all these complaints, and they said they were aware of the problem. I call Ciba Vision again to tell them I had sent them everything they required and I should not have to resubmit proof when they had it already. I kept copies of everything so I knew what I had sent them. I contacted them months after the rebate should have already sent to me (no later than October 2007), and they want me to go through a whole lot of trouble to get the rebate from them. Basically, the above "rebate report cart" website tells you of the same experiences had by many people who happen to find that site and believe that Ciba Vision Rebates is a fraud. I contacted Lenscrafters and was told they will contact Ciba Vision Rebate department themselves. I just beleive this is escalating to a class action if they don't stop cheating people of what they advertised was their rebate. I do see that they are still offering the same rebate.

 Cibavision denied my rebate for $130 on day and night contacts and exam. They claim that it was not purchased within rebate dates. It was. I followed all directions exactly, made copies of my paperwork, and still can't get anywhere. When I asked for a supervisor I was just left on hold. I will never by Cibavision products again.

 I submitted my rebate form to receive a 100 dollar rebate in September 2007.I sent the upc code, receipt and the prescription. I was denied because customer service says I didn't send in proof of purchase. If the receipt isn't proof of purchase, I don't know what else to send. This company is full of crap and i hate i bought the contacts after this terrible experience.

 Did everything the rebate form said to do and mailed it in. After three months and no rebate, I checked the website and it said the rebate was denied because the UPC's were not added. Of course, they were included. Calling their customer service was a waste of time.

 I submitted the rebate in May of 2007 for the Focus Dailies. As of October 2007, I still have not recieved my check. They send out by bulk mail twice a month. They say that the check has been reissued three times. I question if they ever sent the check at all. This is a real sham. The contacts suck any way and are uncomfortable. Don't waste your money!!!

 After I submitted the rebate I waited about 6 weeks and then contacted the company to check the status of my rebate to discover they had no record of my submission. I was informed to check back every week due to the large amount of rebates that were submitted because mine may have been caught up in the shuffle. I checked back every week for a month and a half to finally be told to resubmit the rebate but this time I needed to get a letter from my eye doctor stating that I had not returned the contacts and mail it to the resubmissions department, so I did. Now my rebate has been denied because the rebate form is expired. When I contacted the company to discuss my rebate being denied I spoke with a very rude woman that was very short with me and all she had to offer was that I could resubmit the rebate. I have already resubmitted the rebate and they denied it so why would I go through all this trouble again? I have now emailed the company with my complaint and have not received a response. I will continue to call and email CIBA Vision until they honor my rebate. The worst part is that I don't care for the contact lenses and this rebate is the only reason I considered switching from my usual brand.

 The problem with this rebate is that you seem to have to contact the company (which is difficult in itself) to get anything done. They denied my claim for no reason asked me to resubmit it and then refunded only half of the amount.
