This was not my first rebate. Most rebates tell you on the form what is needed for the rebate. The alienware rebate form was misleading. I filled out all that was asked for on the form including the sales order number. It also said to wait approx 24 weeks. I waited a few months and decided to call them. They told me that since I didnt inquire quickly enough and i didnt include the copy of the sales order that the rebate was no longer available. In the fine print of the rebate they asked for a copy of the sales order. IN THE FINE PRINT !!! I already gave them my sales order number on the rebate form. I found this misleading and I dont know who to write to about this. It's probably too late now, I purchased the computer in Jan 05. Customer Service was not helpful at all. The rebate is the reason I purchased this *&^%^&$##$^ computer !!!

Alienware said you're supposed to wait a crazy 24 weeks for the rebate. It actually took even longer than that for mine. On the positive side, Alienware has a web page for tracking the status of your rebate. It shows if it has been processed, approved or sent, which is reassuring. And, they answer questions promptly.
